Breaking news project is an exploration in different mediums of what news means and what it is in a contemporary society. In the sea of information that we are surrounded by, what is true, credible and relevant to our lives? With a newspaper collage and doodle like drawing I am "breaking news" visually and metaphorically. At the same time I experiment with the concept of the breaking news as the “most significant” story of the moment. Contrast between abstract drawing and printed word creates a tension between orderly arranged words and intuitive, messy drawing. All together this forms a new visual structure representing an obscure mental conglomerate.
