Art statement
Being present means immersing yourself into your surroundings both consciously and unconsciously. In my artistic practice I explore that concept by deconstructing reality and capturing the essence of the moment. Through my work, I engage viewers with artistic expressions of my meaningful experiences and observations. I experiment with worlds both abstract and figurative and my paintings are open to an array of possible interpretations. I use oil and acrylic on canvas, collage, oil markers and watercolor and I often combine these techniques.
